Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO): First Call Cellist. Reed began performing with the DSO in 1998 during the tenure of Neeme Järvi and continued through the artistic directorship of Leonard Slatkin. During his nearly 20 years with the orchestra Reed participated in tours of Europe and Japan.
